Standardization and systemization of technical equipment of the border police of Bosnia and Herzegovina
The Project aims to create standards for the technical equipment used by the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and its systematization into organizational units and individual work posts.
Project duration: 1.9.2023 - 1.3.2025
Project donor: Swiss Confederation, represented by the State Secretariat for Migration
Project activities are foreseen to last for eighteen months, and will apply a multi-phase approach and structure of tasks, carried out by external experts under the leadership of the DCAF Project Team and in cooperation with members of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The deliverables of the project are systemic documents, determining the standards and systematization of technical equipment, based on best European practices and formal requirements of the EU legal order.
Project outputs:
- Set of “Technical Standards for the Border Police Equipment” is written and compiled in one or more structured documents.
- Set of “Standard Operational Procedures” documents are written for tactical use of technically more demanding and sensitive equipment.
- GIS software integration project concept is written.
- Document “Systematization of Technical Equipment of Border Police” is written.
