2nd Study visit of the DCAF project expert team to selected units of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina
Between 12-26 January 2024, the DCAF Ljubljana staff, supported by a specifically engaged subject matter expert, engaged in a week-long fact finding field visit to selected units of the Border police of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BP BIH).
The aim of the visit was for the project expert team to gather first hand information on the organisational aspects of the BP BIH and familiarisation with key challenges faced.
The findings and observations from the visit will feed into the development of Standards and Systemisation documents, within the project Standardisation and systemisation of technical equipment of the border police of Bosnia and Herzegovine.
The project is financed by the Swiss Confederation, represented by the State Secretariat for Migration.
